Here we are yet again close to the end of another dreadful movie year. Tired sequels which may have broken down their welcome years ago and comedies that barely bring about more than a chuckle are littering our movie screens. 3-D continues to be giving a whole new lease on life with hardly any interest and sadly little or no excitement. This tired process was first created to combat television within the 50's and later on resurrected in the early 80's. This gimmick only meant we had been bored in not merely one dimension but three!
In the remake of Conan pointless for Conan's build or fighting prowess emerged as it is inside original where he is eventually extracted from wheel duty and trained to fight as being a gladiator, but alternatively he is portrayed being capable to lob over heads of four years old enemy warriors while still only twelve years. This reminded me of the Star Trek "reboot" where James T. Kirk is not really the whiz kid of Starfleet Academy, earning his Captain's position, but has become a "bad boy" who lucks into duty when the rest of the officers are killed. While escaping from Vulcan, Kirk is stranded on Delta Vega where he meets Ambassador Spock played by Leonard Nimoy, who tells him how he and Nero have travelled through the future anf the husband got struck on Delta Vega. In the absence of Captain Pike, Spock will be the Captain and Kirk is First Officer fully briefed Enterprise. On Ambassador Spock's advice Kirk will be able to convince Spock in handing on the power over Enterprise to him. By hiding Enterprise behind Saturn's moon Titan, Kirk is able to beam on Narada and rescues Pike while Spock sets Ambassador Spock's ship with a collision course with Narada, destroying both of them. On their come back to planet Earth, Kirk is promoted to Captain the Enterprise and Anytime something tragic happens this way, everyone actively seeks blame, or attempt to seem sensible of computer. The anti-gun rights activists are in full force needing to bring that into the national discussion. Surely, you will have people who will bring up the violence on TV, video gaming, comic books, and also at the flicks, as I have here today. Some long-standing movies, most of them very violent have almost a cult following, sometimes that can be a a valuable thing for branding, and lots of money on the box office, sometimes it can turn into a real negative, plus this situation a tragedy. I've given Nolan a decent amount of props for his focus on some of his previous movies, including Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. I've always respected his intelligent filmmaking, his awareness of detail and his awesome capability to build a smooth and also story. He even designed a movie telling an account backwards seem sensible. While I'm sure he's still capable of singing all of these items that I tv shows late 60s early 70s gave him credit for, I have to admit that I'm a bit disappointed with The Dark Knight Rises. I thought which it would be a good movie overall, but it is not done along with it might are actually.
